The Minor League Bio Project is maintained by Chris Woodman, an independent baseball researcher with a long-standing interest in the history of professional baseball.
As a fan of both baseball and history, Chris recognized a significant gap in existing minor league records. This project was created over ten years ago to help correct that information and make it available in a single location.
The goal of the project is not to duplicate existing baseball databases, but to supplement them by correcting incomplete, inaccurate, or missing player identification records.
Chris is in the process of vetting and transferring over 4,700 player records that he has maintained in a separate database over the last ten years . This is an ongoing research project and will continue to expand as additional information becomes available.
